My name is Laura Tyler.  I am a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and Certified Temperament Pastoral Counselor. I also hold a Masters in Adult and Career Education and a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economic Education.  I have taught and worked with teens, young adults, and ladies since 1997. My passion is to help you gain an understanding of your inner workings through research based testing, applying easy to use self help tools, and utilizing Christian counseling methods. Through  encouragement, instruction, and guidance I will help lead you to healing and restoration from life's wounds and disappointments. If you are struggling with your life's purpose or goals for your life,  I will walk you through goal setting, budgeting, and finding your passions that best fit your temperament and skills.  I base all coaching and counseling services on God's word and biblical principles.

During your first session we will take an inventory of your background and information. We will discuss your feelings and thoughts for seeking counseling. We will pray for insight and direction.   I will begin walking you through techniques and tips to begin your healing journey.  After the meeting, I will send you a link to analyze your temperament. 

Many people seek counseling when they are at the end of their proverbial rope. Have you hit a brick wall and see no way to get through your issues alone? There is no shame or weakness in seeking counseling. 

Some people seek counseling as preemptive care to help gain clarity and focus for their lives. 

Whether it is problems with your teenager, marriage, feelings of despair, anger issues, loss of a loved one, or any other issue that has come in your life, talking with a certified counselor can help you walk through those issues. All issues are completely confidential and are held to a code of ethics to keep your privacy safe.
